Shared Standards. Reliable Cooperation.

Our Standards

Transparent processes and uniform standards form the foundation of efficient terminal operations. The terms of use of EUROKOMBI Terminal GmbH define binding procedures, technical requirements, and organizational frameworks – ensuring safe, predictable, and high-performance operations in combined transport.

Rail Slot Procedure

Reliable loading and unloading times at the terminals are essential for rail traffic to and from Hamburg.
For this reason, the slot procedure was introduced at EUROKOMBI in 2008.

Each loading track is divided into time segments (slots) of 4 to 6 hours each.
The specific handling time of a slot depends on the registered train length and the planned transshipment volume.

Between two slots, an additional buffer period of 60 minutes is scheduled — allowing time for the departure of the processed train and the arrival of the next one.

Capacity and Planning

  • Module 1: up to 4 trains per track and day
  • Module 2: up to 3 trains per track and day

With a total of 11 tracks, this results in up to 40 slots per day.

Slot Registration

To register slots for regular or ad-hoc services, please use the designated registration form.

→ This form is available at the terminal and can also be provided as an Excel version upon request.

Further details can be found in the Terms of Use for Service Facilities (NBS) (see below).

Truck Slot Procedure (TR02)

For the handling of truck deliveries and pickups, a TR02 tour plan is mandatory.
Without a valid tour plan, no handling will take place.

In addition, tours outside the booked time slot will not be processed.
If a truck arrives at the terminal outside its assigned slot, a new tour must be booked.
