EUROKOMBI is a modern transshipment facility for combined transport located in the heart of Europe’s largest railway port. Situated on Köhlfleetdamm and directly connected to the EUROGATE sea terminal, the facility offers optimal conditions for the fast and reliable transfer of containers between rail, road, and sea.

Location

Efficient handling, strong connections: EUROKOMBI is the public terminal for combined transport in the Port of Hamburg – located directly next to the EUROGATE Container Terminal and easily accessible by truck.

Directions:

  • Motorway A7, Exit 30 “Waltershof” → towards Finkenwerder / Altenwerder / Dradenau
  • Move into the right lane towards “Dradenau” and turn right at the traffic lights
  • Follow Dradenaustraße, which continues as Antwerpenstraße
  • Turn right at the next opportunity onto Köhlfleetdamm
  • The EUROKOMBI terminal is located at the end of the access road

EUROKOMBI Terminal GmbH was founded in August 2001 and is a 50:50 joint venture between EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg and KOMBIVERKEHR.

The terminal is located in close proximity to the EUROGATE Container Terminal in Hamburg’s Waltershof district – at the heart of Europe’s largest railway port.

Please note:

  • During the 14th hour (2:01–2:59 p.m.), no tour plans can be created.
  • Priority 2 handling is suspended during the preceding and following hours.
  • At the end of each shift, truck handling ends 20 minutes earlier. The latest check-in at the counter is at 10:00 p.m.

The operating hours for rail handling are based on the slot times agreed upon with the authorized access parties.

The service facility is open continuously from Monday 06:00 a.m. to Saturday 10:00 p.m.
On Sundays, the service facility operates from 06:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

If a slot falls on a public holiday or the day before a public holiday, the following special regulations apply:
Requirements must be reported by the authorized access party at least 14 days prior to the start of the slot.

Handling on public holidays (Good Friday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, October 3rd, December 26th):
Rail handling takes place as required and by prior arrangement. Handling may take place at different times than the regular slot schedule.

Handling on major public holidays (January 1st, Easter Sunday, May 1st, Whit Sunday, December 25th):
No operations – the terminal remains closed.

Handling on the day before a public holiday (Easter Saturday, April 30th, Whit Saturday, December 24th, December 31st):
Rail handling takes place as required and by prior arrangement. Handling may take place at different times than the regular slot schedule.
